The Roots of Wild Earth Alchemy
I've always been drawn to what lives beneath the surface, to the intelligence of the body, the medicine and mystery of plants, the changing seasons and the subtle ways we sense things before we can explain them. The relationship between our own nature and the living world has fascinated me for as long as I can remember.
My path has taken me through herbal medicine, women's health, movement and embodied practice, alongside a longstanding interest in ritual, cyclical living and the passages of a woman's life. I am an integrated holistic practitioner, although no single title quite captures the way I work.
My relationship with plants extends beyond their medicinal properties. I'm drawn to folk medicine, the wisdom of the wise woman and the ancient traditions of women gathering, sharing knowledge and honouring life's transitions. There is something deeply familiar in these ways of living, and much that I believe deserves a place in our lives today. There is a witch in me, certainly, grounded as much in the practical work of preparing medicines and working with the body as in the intuitive and unseen.
My own experiences, particularly the thresholds that have altered my life, have shaped this understanding. They've taught me that change doesn't always arrive with clarity, and that not everything difficult needs to be hurried towards resolution. Sometimes we need to inhabit a passage before we can understand where it is leading us.
Wild Earth Alchemy has grown from this way of living and working. It brings together plant wisdom, embodied practice and the feminine arts, creating a place where women can explore their own nature and the changes unfolding in their lives.
At its heart is a belief that we belong to the living world, and that understanding ourselves begins with recognising that relationship.
